@MaCh1N3niqqa The gold standard is one of those radical ideas that obviously will not pass...the transition will not be possible or realistic no matter how we look at it. Other than that most of his other ideas offer real immediate solutions which is what we need most at this point in time.

@RoflCoptr20 i do agree with Ron Paul on the legalization of many things like marijuana, but i don't like the fact that he is for the gold standard. The gold standard is a pointless system. I mean really think about it should we A) value our currency based on our perception of its value, or, B) base it off of the value of gold, which is based our perception of its value.

@RoflCoptr20 I can trust him to do as he says....mainly due to his voting record, ya hes not the best but the least he can do is bring the troops home and use them to secure the southern border, give the states power to legalize what substances they choose (mainly marijuana the #1 cash-crop), and at least grow industrial hemp(stronger than cotton and grows faster than trees) instead of destroying the forests.

Due to a big and powerful government greed and idiocy is easily accomplished, yes ok big government has its benefits im not saying the regulations and all the taxes are bad. i have nothing against big government but when we are not being listened to and the govt. does whatever it wants spending the money meant for education on war and weapons.....its time to make a change. Im voting for Ron Paul not because he wants small govt but because......

The US has one of the LOWEST capitol gains taxes in the world, regulations are not a problem as they are put there to prevent over working and businesses creating safety hazards like using lead paint. there is lack of freedom in many areas, but you should not look to the republicans to change this, they want everyone to be good little christian boys and girls who hate fags and heathens. Big government isnt driving us into the ground, greed and idiocy is.

@MaCh1N3niqqa I agree, but i mean come on There are wax to many taxes, regulations(especially for business), and lack of freedom. The Federal Income Tax is Bogus yet its enforced, we cant even grow and use industrical hemp just because its related to marijuana. I agree small governments isnt very good but its better than a big government driving us into the ground.

@RoflCoptr20 under the articles of conferatation this was true, but the articles of confederation were a complete and utter failure. That is why we have our current constitution, because the founding fathers realized that having a wimpy federal government didn't work. If you still think "big" government is bad, maybe you should take a look at the only country in the world that isn't failing economically, Germany, which has a big federal government.
