Sen. Bayh Retiring: 'I Do Not Love Congress'

Sen. Evan Bayh, a centrist Democrat from Indiana, announced he won't seek a third term, giving Republicans a chance to pick up a Senate seat. "I love helping our citizens make the most of their lives, but I do not love Congress," Bayh said. (Feb. 15)

It's all the Insurance Companies!!!!!! Really??? Economics anyone?? Rates are based on projected expenditures. ie, Doctors charges, Hospital charges, all the Nursing and Specialty care. After a mild heart attack last Sept, the hospital charges to my insurance carrier was $48,759.79 for three days. This was not considered a serious event. Attacking one side of the equation solves nothing. To work will require a full takeover of health care. If you think this sucks now, wait till it's "free".
