it doesnt clunk, only when u drop from a too high speed and its a nice drive. just wish it was louder and wasnt fuel injected coz it means a fuel processor if u want it to run nice with a new exhaust which is another £177. plus there aint much in terms of customising. well i havent seen much anyway. still a great bike
I bought a used 2007 a week ago, pound for pound, my favorite cruiser. You can do clutchless shift, but why?
Yes it does lerch a bit from neutral to 1. That's pretty standard.
The yellow looks sexy man. I was only about black when I got mine, looking back, would have considered other schemes, but the black and chrome is still hot.
@juneride YES you can do a clutchless shift, i did it kinda accidently, and yes it does clumk when you go from neutral to 1st...I have 06 m50 2200 miles...but this bike is very well built and has a great power band and the fat tires upfront gives you great stopping power ,and it has great cruising distance 4.1 gallons a 48mpg and it runs with 900cc bikes, plus the center of gravity is low,it handle great with the inverted forks
I agree with your statement. I like feeling power and hearing it. I don't like feeling or hearing something I feel is gonna fall off or break the damn bike every time I operate it.
That's what I don't like about cruisers. The manufacturers think they must have inferior gear boxes. My friend's kawi zzr 1200 has a silky-smooth one. Silky-smooth shifting enhances the riding pleasure; the clunky one kills all the fun.
I think, I'll buy gladius and make it 2 inches lower.
wtf? no tach?

You wanna do clutch less upshifts you should look at a sport bike. This isn't a GSXR.

I want to buy one but I'm hesitating. I'll never buy a bike if the gearbox is not silky-smooth.
Does it clunk when you go from neutral to first? Can you do clutchless upshifts?
Who knows?
