A 10 Minutes summer edition of delicious House classics.
BILL CONTI / JEAN ROCH: I never saw any of the movies from the 'Rocky' franchise. However, I know Bill Conti as a composer and orchestra leader. I remember his name is connected to one of the most popular TV Shows from the 1980'S (Theme from 'Dynasty'). He is also the man behind the orchestra of the Academy Awards ceremony.
For 'Can You Feel It', Jean Roch wanted to use 'The Final Bell' from 'Rocky II'. This sample was replayed in studio for many technical reasons (speed, layering). In the end, what we get is a powerful House track with a very catchy melody and great vocals. But, where is Adrian?
ADRIAAAAAN???? ADRIAAAAAAN??!!
INNER LIFE / UNA MAS: Una Mas is a duo composed of Lee Hamblin and Simon Law. They teamed up with Full Intention (another production duo) in 2002 for 'I Will Follow', a good reminiscing of the 'Big Love' syndrome generated by Pete Heller in 1999. All the samples were replayed in studio (strings, keyboards, bongos). Very well made as you can hear.
DON ARMANDO / BCCREW: 'The Deputy Of Love' by Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band is a disco classic. A few samples later, we get 'The Deputy' by BCCrew (1999).
BONUS: SYLVESTER / BYRON STINGILY: Those who have read the latest news on the main channel page might remember I bought this single for almost nothing and decided to add it here. Big club hit from 1997.
Right at 2;07-2:22 was also sampled by Soul Focus "Give a little" I have this track on a dowloaded housemusic podstream and I instantly recongized the sample.
Love your channel and your education man. Keep up the good work!!!!

@ledjfab you forgot cherie amore, her song "I don't want nobody (tellin' me what to do)" is based on the same sample of Inner Life feat. Jocelyn Brown's "Ain't no mountain high enough" that has been used by Una Mas in "I Will Follow".

Thank you for the information. Remember: I don't know all the tracks that were made using the same sample. I have a big knowledge of music, but I don't know everything. This is why I gladly let other people know about their own knowledge of music in the comments sections. These additions are always welcome so that viewers can listen more variations if they want to. :)
