From The Defenders to Law & Order, the television industry has generated an endless stream of dramatic series involving law and lawyers. On May 6th, 2011 Television Writer & Producer David E. Kelley, along with Actress Camryn Manheim , television producer and former co-chair of NBC Entertainment Ben Silverman and several others took part in a discussion at Stanford Law School which focused on the legal profession as it is shown on television. They examined the business aspect of legal television-creating legal shows, writing scripts, and acting.
