I think it must have been a gala with some diesel locos built by / designed by English Electric. But I wasn't there at the event (wish I had been!), so I can't say for sure!

No, it was the 11th November 2006. The 10th was a Friday, not a Saturday! The 12th had a running day with D335 & a steam engine.
