Today marks one month since people began camping out in lower Manhattan to protest Wall Street's high crimes and disastrous influence on our economy. And in that month - this movement has transformed into an unstoppable force - occupying not just New York City but the entire planet.
Later in the show Thom Hartmann speaks with Think Progress reporter Lee Fang about the conservative think tank, ALEC which is at the center of controversy yet again, this time with a very questionable connection with a "charity" in the U.K. that was shutdown.

@jimlaregina Join us and do something. This is the best organized protest movement I have ever seen and it is easily the most international. It will soon be the biggest protest movement in history. Movements like this are already scaring the hell out of the power elite and they are desperately trying to mock and defame us. they know movements like this brought down the soviet empire, created civil rights and the womens vote, freed India, Korea, and and many countries from foreign control.

ok so here is something that i would like to point out the main stream media has really not been paying attention until there was arrest's and police violence you see i really hate seeing police violence it highlights all that is wrong with society but it does get more people out in the streets because it is the only way that the large majority of people see what is really happening and while I dislike it it sometimes seems like the police are actually doing the protesters a backhanded favor
