these kind of centers are all over sacramento with lots of empty retail space.

  • BTW, it was such a nice center back in the day - it still looked 80s when I lived there, it was simpler, but also alot busier. Bummer the Albertson's is gone now. Heck, I don't even think the Blockbuster on the other end had even OPENED back in '95.

  • Whoa, thanks for posting this video, just for my own memories. I lived in Orangevale from 1990 to 95 and always wondered what was in the American River plaza now! I've looked on Google Earth and street view but it doesn't get that close.

    It's depressing seeing that little part of the center so empty now. Back in the day, there was an electronics repair shop and a barber I'm sure of.

    Looks like the Ace Hardware center now takes up a little triangle area that didn't use to be there.
