  • Hello, Im deaf. My mind picture word deafhood. To me deafhood sound like deafhook. Nooooo waaaay! I dont like word deafhood. Please dont do that. Sound awful to me. I dont mind deafness as person. Deafhood as gang as against people. I love being deaf as being human. Hearing and deaf are being human. You grew up being deaf and know whats going on as hard life. That is normal. Nothing wrong with that. Most of time deaf always says i can do it like nike says just do it. Ofc! True!!! Dont struggle

  • For some reason, my video wouldn't work on my Mac computer. I'll try to fix that tomorrow, hopefully! OK, I spent my time looking and learning what those extraordinary people said. To me, Deafhood is when deaf people are interpreted normality in a different way. They argued that the deaf community is a legitimate cultural group in a reasonable and not abnormal way. I would like to say that I, deaf person both actively and passionately fight for my rights for true equality and acceptance.

  • That's so great one my deafhood are same for deafies do the best asl . :- )

  • Great video. I am, of course, not deaf, however, I believe if what you are communicating is truly important, - if you really believe in what you are saying - you should caption your video, and make your message available to as many people as possible.

    Lovely video.

  • As a hearing person who knows a little sign I think this is a BRILLIANT idea both for the deaf community and the hearing community. We are one, we are all the same. The only thing that separates us is language and knowing HOW to communicate. We learn, we appreciate, we share then we understand. Takes time, patience and CARING. God bless you all for sharing your stories and thoughts with those of us who hear and in my case PARTLY understand what sign I can catch with what little I know. THANKS

  • go back deafhood?? really? umm..

well, think obay 10 commandments,..love neighbor, righteous gospel, attude,... etc at first. that then deaf town, community safety .

  • It takes a community to answer this question but we are all unified on the answer. Love this so much!
