Laween atroshi promotes Kurdistan 2011 independence, human rights, kurdish cause and anfal in house of lords
European Leadership Conference on Human Rights Day, as Ambassador for Peace Laween Atroshi, in House of Lords, United Kingdom promotes the rights of Kurdish People & demands Remembrance Day for the victims of the Anfal by the Saddam Hussein Regime. He also shows the international community that Kurdistan has a peaceful community and highlights to raise awareness that at the time of the honour killings that were mentioned in the conference regarding Kurdistan, the KRG Prime Minister at the time, Mr Nechirvan Barzani condemns such actions and has put strict laws in place against killings.
It is very important to spread the truth about Kurdistan and show the international world the talent & resources Kurdistan has, he also demands from Labour for Kurdistan's independence and awareness to be included in the elections agenda. He also highlighted the importance of the 'right' education and that Kurdistan has a solid education infrastructure with a diverse network of communities comprising of different religions yet we will always be united as one family under god.
