designmelina is a handbag design studio based out of Brooklyn, NY. Our philosophy has always been that handbags can be a one of a kind yet universal accessory. Every woman needs at least one bag or purse.




Bags are a perfect fit for women of all shapes and every age. We need them for transporting possessions, keeping our keys and our wallets secure, a carrier for the things we use everyday. Despite their utilitarian nature, bags can be a signal of our own personal style. They can make a statement on their own or coordinate with our total look.

Although they are practical, designmelinas bags often contain vivid and bold colors, sometimes subdued tones are used in unique ways. Whenever possible reclaimed or rescued fabrics are in the construction of each bag.
