Interactive Learning Through Role Play: Role Plays 1-2

This clip outlines the goals of my workshop on interactive learning and then emphasises bad teaching practices through two role plays. Unfortunately, this is the way most classrooms function.

In Role Play 1: "It's all about Me", the teacher dominates the classroom from the front of the room.

In Role Play 2: "Natural Selection", the teacher selects students to answer questions, praising the strong and patronising or ridiculing the weak.

The other clip, Role Play 3, shows the virtues of interactive learning and should be watched after this clip.
