That's what happen when someone talks shit without knowing shit of what he or she is talking about. No matter what you do or how you do it if it is music it will end in a Pro Tools engineer hand and it will be mix and master and put on a C.D. using Pro Tools, period and end of discussion.

I agree !!

Hdiggy you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Elastic audio is a development of what programs like Ableton Live can do - except elastic audio is a higher quality algorhythm.
If you reckon you can do what this does in Audacity or Cubasis, you haven't grasped what it can do.
As for PT distracting people from getting work done...guess what the most used program in pro studios is? yep, Pro Tools....in this case, pro does mean Pro!

You my friend are very ignorant, but it's not your fault.
Basically Elastic time goes far beyond what other very good programs go. Ableton Live is a pro application just like logic, sonar, dp and others. BUT.... so far Pro Tools has the most accurate sample values and precise algorhythym for PROFESSIONAL results. Yes many other programs can do similar things but hey... there is a reason why PT is used for the PROS.
