Lab works over the pheasants

Just a short video that I shot during the 2007 Iowa Pheasant Season. All birds are wild and seen on public land. Lab is only a year and half and loves to track down pheasants.

I didn't know a lab could flush like this... I thought that was the work of a springer spaniel or pointer breed. Do they cover the ground well or just run around randomly... this dog is working well by the way, great dog!
