Some app's to help your computer speed up a little bit.
MacScan: Scan's for spyware and other things it thinks your computer does not need. There is also Norton's Virus Scanner, I had problem with Norton's it scans EVERYTHING and it used about 80% of my ram 24/7
Monolingual: cleans out all of the languages you don't use. It allows you to select the ones you want to keep and delete the ones you don't. The only way to get back the languages is to archive and install or do a clean install. So make sure you don't delete any language you might use. It doesn't delete anything else.
Disk Inventory X: This is one of my favorite mac "cleaning" applications it scans any folder or HDD, and anything else to see what in that location is taking up the most space. So if I scan my HD it will tell me everything that is taking up space, and showing what is taking up the most. If you have hidden files you don't know were you put and its 100gigs, then just open the app it will map out the location and allow you to see were stuff is. It does a great job at what is is and its FREE!
