Mushroomhead was formed in 1993 and Slipknot in 1995 Roadrunner Records had interest in signing Mushroomhead before Slipknot but they passed on the deal. Mushroomhead started appearing with ridiculous mask first and when they saw Slipknot doing the same they decided to steal Slipknots jumpsuits and go with the Black XX mask. Either way they have both buried their differences, and its not like you could fault every other band that has a gimmick and say they copied KISS

@rockyandkane2 Slipknot FOUNDED mushroomhead, Slipknot & Mushroomhead are good friends & slipknot brought Mushroomhead onto the Nu Metal scene..... if they can get along why the hell cant other people? I Totally agree with you, people are just stupid & ill informed ^_^
