Fishers of Men

This is a video made by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Vocations and Priestly Formation in order to give people a look in on the life of a Roman Catholic Priest and invite young men to open their hearts to the call.

Please pray with us for an increase in vocations to the ordained ministry and the consecrated life:



Lord Jesus, as You once called the first disciples to make them fishers of men, let your sweet invitation continue to resound: Come, follow Me!

Give young men and women the grace of responding quickly to Your voice. Support your bishops, priests and consecrated people in their apostolic labor.

Grant perseverance to our seminarians and to all those who are carrying out the ideal of a life totally consecrated to Your service.

Awaken in our community a missionary eagerness. Lord, SEND WORKERS TO YOUR HARVEST and do not allow humanity to be lost for the lack of pastors, missionaries and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel.

Mary, Mother of the Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say "Yes" to the Lord Who calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation. Amen.

USC of catholic bishops should thin out the bad shepherds. Get rid extremists like Vlazny , Lynn, Mahony then you will gain respectabilities again . Long live the catholic church . Defrock bad bishops this is the right time for the right reason .

lol @ you have to be a real man to become a priest... tell that to the children molested by your so called universal preisthood. I like the term fishers of men. The bait is salvation and eventually your body and soul devoured by these so called fisherman. The biggest contradiction is these lavish lodgings of the upper eschelon of the priesthood alledged representatives of he who had nowhere to call his own. Thanks for posting.
