    eddie what are the most common scales used by rockabiily guitar players?

  • Major pentatonic is the basis. To sound correct to the style, you change the scale for each chord. if you stay in one scale you will play more towards rock and roll. Once you have the basics then add some transition notes to lead in and out of each scale.
