I like the mnemonic :P
The algorithm I like to teach beginners is F U F U F U' F' U' F'. Although this 2-gen style approach is 1 move longer than the boring old one that people use, it is much easier to memorize (you simply alternate between two faces) and it's much easier to mirror (simply turn the other way!). Plus you get to say "F*** you!" over and over.
