Now those are some turbo graphics right there! Never met anybody that owned a Turbografx-16 back in the day. I owned an Snes and my neighbor owned a Genesis. Glad I can just go to youtube and see what I was missing.

@sp00ky425 Understood, thanks.
What's the trick to getting heart containers?
I've spent hours of playing this game to get heart containers, and you get the with no problem.

@janX9 The containers are decided at random. A heart has a small chance of being a container instead of a heart. I just manipulated the chance of it being a container by delaying or changing the method of killing the enemy.

@sp00ky425 Thanks for the fast reply!
"delaying or changing the method of killing the enemy."
???
Would you give me an example of what you mean? I watched your speed-run and and I didn't notice a special approach.

@janX9 keep in mind this is a tool assisted speedrun, using emulator savestates/slow motion/other tools. you can't see it but there are subtle delays or things i do to increase the chance of the container dropping, such as landing the last hit on a delayed frame or jumping just before landing the final hit.

You get hit and flash often, yet rarely lose a heart. Why?

@batfan1939 in the overworld Keith takes very little damage. In the underworld I chose the enemies that do the least damage whenever possible.
