i bought my for my ps3 and i wonder if i play private match, could i chat with my friends, anyway my name is going4SkillZz in playstation network.

@raceman58 also if you use them on PS3 you only get chat audio, which is actually ACCURATE to a life situation. soldiers in the field have their focus on their headset, and then ambient noise, so they can communicate reliably with HQ. so it's great to chat clearly with your squad members and have background ambiental noise from another speaker, like a 5.1 sound system, it feels real and life-like. also it's no match for the price, it really delivers, both input and output.

Yes you only get the chat audio on the PS3 no in game audio.

Will these work with my PS3, and will the sound be mixed with the chat (speech and game sound in headset) or will it just be voice chat. Please reply as soon as possible.

good review but any idea why my 655 does not work on either WinXP or Mac OSX? I know for WinXp it is supposed to pick up MS's Generic USB Audio Device driver but that has yet to happen. Currently plugged into my Mac BP and the headset does not go live. My son used this on a newly configured Win 7 PC and said he was able to hear but never heard himself, he thinks he might have damaged the I/O but I doubt it, I think it's driver issue? Would like your thoughts.

Before looking at the driver make sure that you select the usb headset in the sounds preferences in OSX. If you have done this I would investigate the driver.
