This is the data SimpleGeo collected from the eight geolocated data providers (FourSquare, Gowalla, Twitter, Flickr, Bump, Brightkite, BlockChalk, and Fwix) during the South by SouthWest Interactive Festival. The live datastream was available on http://austin.vicarious.ly, but we thought people might enjoy a conference retrospective in data. If you'd like to have access to this data and more, and/or outsource your entire geolocation infrastructure to the experts in massive geodatasets, check out http://simplegeo.com; we're in Beta right now, with a full launch at the end of March!

Ok... this is way cool! I was at SXSWi March 11- the 17th so some of those dots are actually mine as I moved around SXSWi on Twitter, Foursquare and Flickr. LOVE IT!

@tuzy2k interesting as a lot of the geeks I know all wish they could have gotten into the music action! Me personally wishes they weren't separate- this all needs to be addressed under one roof! Otherwise- we the music/film idiots(lol) don't get the necessary schooling and education for growth- the lines are blurring.

@fionab12 The interactive, or web conference, ends on that day. The geeks don't give a fuck about the music/film idiots.
