Well, I'm a 'Humanist' and I still read the 'Quaker new's' letter and sign many of their petitions.

@MrDustock In a way. The quakers were non conformists and placed great emphasis on personal spiritual freedom (rather than orthodox, scriptured religion). This did not make them very many friends back in the day and ultimately resulted in many of them populating the great state of Pennsylvania. Their influence on the early days of the Union had a profound impact on American feelings of freedom to this day.
