Bradley Cooper did not "hit that chicken hard" in The Hangover. If you were serious about researching animal cruelty and forming an opinion on it, you'd have checked the American Humane Association Film & TV Unit website, looked up the "No Animals Were Harmed®" certifications issues, and found that The Hangover was certified "Monitored: Outstanding". The chicken being swatted off the counter was a choreographed act; Cooper himself admitted being extra careful not to harm the bird.
