i read that you use DR strings on this bass. excellent choice, you can't beat DR strings. are you using Hi-Beams or Lo-Riders on that bass? i use the nickel Lo-Riders myhself, i went from HBs SS to SS LRs, used those for months, then tried nickel LRs 5 months ago. they've lasted all that time & I'm finally ready to change em after 5 months. long life, great tone, unbeatable quality. give the nickel LRs a try, i promise you won't be disappointed. keep on rockin man
