  • @UGHxCorporate Yeah I most likely did...!

  • @METALMAN4Wii I think u spelt his name wrong

  • Fun Fact Al Conpown opened the first Soup Kitchen in the 1930's yes the Mobster. hey i'm not saying he was the most Nobel Guy but he knew how to win the people over..!

  • @buckeyemike81 By who makes them i mean: A few corporations/lobbyists/politicans or the people. There's plenty of evidence in the world of how money as a motivating factor can produce negative results. Trillions in private arms deals/mercenary contracts/ect alone is enough to make that case. I am just not 1 to ever support money as motivation. Its fine if you do. I work hard & run my entire department yet up until recently I made below industry average salary. Money is clearly not my motivation.

  • @buckeyemike81 Yes they could vote to do so. Every1 has the same opportunity to get involved/organized in the political/legal process. No1 has to live in a country where their views/beliefs are adversely challenged by the majority. Every country has laws w/ which people disagree. The key is who makes them. "Socialist countries do not behave in the way you are describing" Exactly. This is why socialist is a misnomer in those cases. Bastardized/corrupt systems like those tried b4 will always fail.

  • @txl301md Ha, ok so 99% could vote in your socialist system to outlaw a religion? Wow, what a utopia...

Bottom line, every single time socialism has been tried it has ended in poverty, starvation, and tyranny. Conversely every time capitalism is allowed to work it thrives and lifts people from poverty, creates a surplus, and protects individual liberties.

  • @txl301md Socialist countries do not behave in the way you are describing. Socialist countries lag behind capitalist ones in charity (mostly because socialist countries are poor because of their terrible economic model so they have little extra to give). There is nothing wrong with people being motivated by money.

  • @txl301md Those things are what motivates people to work hard in real life. When people can get the same reward for being lazy as for being productive, the vast majority will choose to be lazy.

  • @buckeyemike81 "Socialism does reinforce laziness because people who work harder aren't rewarded." This just isnt true. The PEOPLE can decide on any number of ways (OTHER THAN WEALTH) to compensate or reward good behavior and hard work amonst one another. A mansion & lavish clothes(which often go largely unused) ect should NEVER be a motivation to work hard. IMO, these VALUES reflect a loss of humanity & as long as they exist the future of our species is hopeless..Free markets/ socialism aside.

  • @buckeyemike81 This is the beauty of having social interests in mind when designing a system of governance. Principles such as unconditional love, social responsibility, critical thinking, respect of nature, are encouraged in society and positively reinforced. You are more apt to value humanity over material things. The inefficiencies of one man having multiple houses or a house with multiple rooms are understood. That depreciating material wealth could be reintegrated efficiently in society.
