  • @FroopieLoopies stupid comment

  • The Sport RR is for chicks--only men drive the full size HSEs aka "Big Dawg Truck!"

  • 1 person cant afford a range rover working at mcdonalds

  • @md991free Ha Cheers!

That's exactly the same story with Triumph motorcycles (I am a biker) - bad reputation in the early/mid 90's and they worked so hard to put that right, that they actually over-engineered everything and the engines became bomb-proof and very reliable, as well as very characterful. They are now considered as good as the Jap bikes, which is a compliment indeed. I understand Americans like Triumphs? I know they've started hiring them in LA, along with Harleys & BMW's.

  • @250Trojan In the US, during the 90's Jag were given a bad reputation because of engine problems. The cars were always being repaired, but in the last 10 years the company has done a great job at rehabilitating the brand and Americans have started purchasing Jag again.

It is also a very stylish car with an old classic touch to it.

I hope one day you get to buy one.

  • @md991free Yes, Jaguars are too - I occasionally go past the factory, as I live nearby. It's next to the Dunlop tyre factory.

    I would love a Jag....

  • @250Trojan Great I didn't know that Range Rover was still made in England. Great news. I think is a great car, beautiful and well designed.

  • @md991free For example. I worked for a company that moved it's production to China and only kept the head office here. This was a massive manufacturing company, so now there are hundreds and hundreds of people working in the factory in China making the product, but there are only about 10 - 20 people employed here in the UK at the head office. Now if every company did that the UK would be massively unemployed, so a foreign owner isn't all bad as long as we still make the product.
