Arg, it's a shame the singer's leading notes in the ascending phrases are a tad flat...

it's the interpretation most german linguists think is right...when talking about eichendorff poetry you always have to remember that he was very religious (catholic) and therefore believed in god...that's why he was unhappy with how humans treted the nature, which is the only place (for a romantic poet) to get away from a economised life



Some songs are eternal. This is one of them. It's so beautiful. And the singer is marvellous. Could you tell us his name?
