this is a bad groove you guys get into, it's so funky - this reminds me of Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi band but it's different - you guys get into that groove and take it into the outer space zone - the time is always cookin' - I like how Rob S stretches out and plays some great stuff - the music hypnotized me and by the end I actually thought I was in the club and started clapping- that solo you play is awesome-KesaI is right, you really take it to the outer limits-Thank you Bugalu - cool ending
It seems that during the song the role of the musicians are changing moment to moment. Sometimes the band sounds like they're directing the flow of the music. Other times it seems they're riding the wave of time and letting the music dictate where it wants to go. I noticed this towards the end of the song where the music gets really open. Rob really stretches out on his solo and brings the music to it's limit. Meanwhile you and Kim are holding a solid groove.
I'm honestly still having a hard time describing my thoughts on your videos. It's hard for me to express into words what I think when I hear a lot of players. But for this video I just wanted to say that I love the funky vibe that this jam has. As usual, yourdynamics and limb interplay come across to add some tension to the song.
