You don't want to see people topless walking on the street? Then don't go back to the Philippines. Even here in Australia men go topless during summer, I'm not too keen on it either, but when it's hot people can't help but do it, and in the Philippines it's scorching hot everyday. Complain if women are starting to do it too.

i remember my "lolo" noong buhay pa siya. He wears those kind of clothes, w/hat, baston (bakulo?) & tobacco pipe everyday ..and he speaks fluent spanish..kahit nasa probinsiya kami noon. Ngayon..I seldom see people na may spanish culture except those rich families. Ngayon parang iba iba na ang mga lahi ng Pilipino.

True. Even regular Filipinos are speaking with a coarse, loud street accent - like everyone is 'tubong lansangan'. I was told that before the war there were no slums in Manila and government officials were highly respected. Now, both are disgustingly filthy.
