Socrates, Plato and Aristotle are both Great philosophers. Thats it
So why debate on who's better?
They both contributed greatly in our academe world.

Aristotle was the by-far best product of Socrates teachings, Plato in today's time would just be another pawn for the rich, he despised the poor and he thought manual labor was sinful and evil. Aristotle was more down to earth and even gave free philosophy lessons to the working class citizens at night when they got home from work, Plato wouldn't even talk to these types of working class people. cheers

are you joking? this had nothing to do with why he was not given this position. if you don't know anything about this significantly important time in the history of democracy then certainly don't make up an answer. Do you know about this philosophical differences in which caused the almost-violent debates between Plato and Aristotle?
