Incredible jailhouse scene with Caan and Willie Nelson with the latter desperate not to spend his last days of life behind bars. Movie was Mann's directorial debut. Music by Tangerine Dream. @Tyrants - seems I like remember that he had an attorney file a motion to have some kind of review and "persuaded" the judge to allow Willie to the rest of the time outside prison.

It's been a long time since I last saw this movie, but if my memory is correct, he doesn't. It's a dark movie and a lot of bad things happen Caan's character as the theme is that once you're in the "game" you can never quit it.
