Video on the basics of Cinema 4D Typography
Covers basic sliding text, pop-in, camera animation, getting music into Cinema 4D, and a lot of side advice.

Sound files MUST be .wav 44100Hz
-
With every object and effect, render times increase per frame.
-
To increase the length of your C4D workspace, There's a "90F" in a box under the timeline. change that to the length of your song. 30 Frames is 1 second, so a 3 minute video is 5400 frames.
-
Remember to try and precalculate your render times. at 1920x1080, a simple scene with text will take one second. Text with refraction materials or visible blurs will rack it up to 2-5 seconds. Adding 2x2 anti-aliasing shoots it up more. 16x16 anti-aliasing will take 20 minutes with Refraction, Blurs and glows per frame. Your sleep time may be the best time to render for a 3 minute vid taking 8 hours to render.

In the video I said my Typography video took 18 hours to render with 3 seconds added per frame at 3000 frames. It turns out it was actually 6840 frames.

I'll gladly do more tutorials upon request. It's fun hearing my own voice.
