Few of the children living in the Nairobi slums have ever laid eyes on the animals for which Kenya is famous, so Anno's Africa decided to take their Art Group from the Majengo slum on a visit to the Animal Orphanage outside Nairobi.
Wonderful. Love the drawings by the kids. Lived in southlands estate most of my youth - which is about 5 miles from there. Yet I visited the orphanage only twice in my life. Sad really. Local tourism should be promoted.

What a gift, what an experience! I love when they're eating lunch...so many voices, faces. It echoes a great part of the power of myth.
