Sisterlock 26 months update

Here is an update on my sisterlocks, interlocks whatever you want to call them. I am was in a super good mood. I was dancing all weekend on the xobx kinect, endorphines much?

how long does it take for you to retighten?

@scylla uh days, i usually do it over the span of a week, not really focusing on it too too much. i do it while i am watching movies. so maybe three moves worth :)

@nicoleisthenewblack  hi nicole, i have sister locs and i maintain locs too. As for the frizzy, unrulely, stray hairs: inside the sisterloc world at the salon they do what is called a 'grooming' where you actually take a pair of scissors and snip those hairs. it will really clean up the look.

@rsoftlips really, i dont think i like the sound of that :) people always wanted to groom my traditional locs and it just made me nervous. i use scissors to seperate locs that fuse together but that is about it. i have tried triming the ends. that is okay. but the hair in between my locs are gonna stay where they are haha
