Thank you for the education. I truly thought the stringy pulp was more obvious than what was in the video. I knew about the inner flesh of the rind that is used to make pumpkin pie, etc. Once again, thank you for the education. I just thought they looked very dried-up inside. :-)

Pumpkins are naturally hollow, which makes them easy to carve and is why they became popular for jack-o-lanterns. They have some stringy pulp on which the seeds form, but you don't eat that. It's the inner flesh of the rind that's edible.

They said pumpkins celebrating Halloween. It did not say jack-o-lanterns from Halloween. Technically, there is a difference. Reading info and comprehending are also two different things, but thank you for the feedback.
