  • Thank you for the education. I truly thought the stringy pulp was more obvious than what was in the video. I knew about the inner flesh of the rind that is used to make pumpkin pie, etc. Once again, thank you for the education.  I just thought they looked very dried-up inside. :-)

  • Pumpkins are naturally hollow, which makes them easy to carve and is why they became popular for jack-o-lanterns. They have some stringy pulp on which the seeds form, but you don't eat that. It's the inner flesh of the rind that's edible.

  • They said pumpkins celebrating Halloween. It did not say jack-o-lanterns from Halloween. Technically, there is a difference. Reading info and comprehending are also two different things, but thank you for the feedback.
