Albanian Propaganda Against Montenegro in the U.S. Senate

After twenty years of lobbying on Capitol Hill marked with indiscriminate lies in nearly a dozen hearings both in the Senate and Congress, the Albanian American Civic League has here gone on to its the next target: Montenegro.

You should note what it says: "Repression of Albanians in Montenegro". And in order to illustrate this "repression of Albanians in Montenegro" in the best possible way, one single witness is brought up to speak. You should note that no other instances except one principle losing his job - for reasons that "probably" (to use the principle's own word for why he lost his job) don't have anything to do with him being an ethnic Albanian. No reports whatsoever are presented here except this one individual to back such claims that "Albanians in Montenegro will be extinct in 20 years", which is what Shirley Cloyes says at the end.

But the truth is that there is no repression of Albanians in Montenegro. If Montenegro has the slightest connection to the suffering of the Albanians (suffering inflicted to them merely as retaliations in connection to the unprovoked NATO aggression on Serbia in 1999), it is through the tens of thousands of Albanians who either fled from the full-scale fighting between Serb forces and the KLA in Kosovo or were forcibly chased away by the Serbs.

One should also not just see in passing the way the principle ignores to answer concretely on the Senator's question about the Albanians' situation. Finally, there is nothing to back such a claim that the Albanians in Montenegro will be extinct in 20 years, as stated here by Shirley Cloyes, the wife of the AACL President Joe DioGuardi. On the other hand, they are increasing extensively. This is something which is evident among Albanian communities in Kosovo and Macedonia as well. This is illustrated by the mere fact that the Albanians in Kosovo have more births per capita than anywhere in Europe today.

You should also not for one second think that the Albanians fooled anyone in that room, because the United States choose their friends based on what the goals for the day are. They don't set up goals on who their friends are, and they certainly don't care about the supposedly endangered rights of Albanians in Montenegro who consist a insignificant fraction of population there.
