Hey Jeff do you guys eat the gar down there. Up here in Quebec Canada we like the catfish, not the channel cats but the small 1-2lb bullhead catfish. I used to snare the nose with wire and a pole for fun but never to eat. My grandfather always said the meat wasn't good.
