For us, this just feels backwards. For trackpad users, I can see this as being all fine and dandy, but why couldn't this setting just be applied for those devices? For the scroll wheel, Apple isn't the authority on what's natural. They neither invented nor designed the scroll wheel. Is Apple trying to dumb down its audience and confine them to a narrow range of people just using gestural touch devices?
For the Magic Trackpad and Macbook Trackpads, I'd agree that this feels more natural, especially with the screen tilted at an angle to align more with the finger motion. But I don't like this as an operating system default for *ALL* devices. I'm a design professional required to use multiple OSes and workstations. We use Wacom devices like the Lenscursor mouse and Intuous4 tablet. We like the original standard established when the scroll wheel was invented that all other OSes use as default.
