ive been wondering, does the floyd rose fuck up the tone or whatever compared to a standard? cause i was thinking of putting a floyd on my les paul but i don't want my tone getting fucked up

@nuclear1250 - apparently it does effect the tone so a lot of the pros have been adding titanium blocks to the base of the bridge. I'm not sure us mere mortals can tell the difference. A cheaper way to get a Floyd-enabled LP is to go for one of those $700 ESP LTDs.

Everybody has his own style and his own preferations on Guitars! so stop bashing a company for having high prices! The prices are there for a reason! Unlike Ibanez Gibson build all of their guitars in the US. an american Ibanez is just as expensive as a gibson!

@nuclear THE FLOYD ROSE MESSES UP THE LES PAUL NECK OVER TIME THE GUITAR WILL BE WITH 100 DOLLARS BECAUSE THE NECK WILL BE ALL TWISTED UP NEVER PUT A FLOYD ROSE ON A LES PAUL THATS THE STUPIDEST THING I SEEN IF YOU WANT A FLOYD ROSE GET A FENDER OR FIRSTACT BEGINNERS GUITAR
