guys,the proper way way is to use the 'basket'

I don't often see catches off kicks like this, much more common is the "basket" catch, where the ball lands into a cradle and into the chest. It's a much safer bet and protects the ball better from attacking players

Aren't most professionals just experts at the fundamentals? Hitting a baseball, shooting a basketball, slapping a hockey puck...there are basic fundamentals involved. I think the pro's have simply mastered such techniques, and it is why they are professionals.

I was taught this way... Everytime I mishandle it (Which I did twice) I never knocked it on... It's effective
