Well as a 6ft 1" female copper in GMP I think your rather narrow minded about the recruitment process and let me tell you im scared of nobody.... maybe would have been different if I would have attended..... still think its a bit unfair..... what do you do for a job ? And would you take on 7 or 8 travellers with just 2 of you ? I think not when you consider what bobbies are actually paid..... they just want to go home in 1 piece most of the time..... just a thought !!!!!!!

As someone from the U.S. who has an interest in British Policing - which set the standard for the World - and its history, particularly GMP (and former CC Michael Todd - a man who knew what policing, British or otherwise, was all about) this is very disappointing to view. I once read that Sir Robert Peel's application for perspective Bobbies had three questions: "Can you read?", "Can you write?", and "Can you THUMP?" Hate this, since GMP is MY Team - used to be able to handle ANYTHING!
