Id like evidence of that please. I've read Manufcturing Consent, and he simply says that the american bombings were responsible for more deaths than Pol Pot, and that eventually the US supported him.

Read "After the Cataclysm" by Noam Chomsky, Chomsky says the level of horror which took place in Cambodia is greatly exaggerated.........this is a fact!! The irony is, Chomsky is supposed to be for the serf/slave/proletariat ect. if you read extensively into the history of Pol Pot's killing fields you'll not he enslaved everybody(the irony being serfs and poor people)....but he had Chomsky to "downplay" the atrocities :)

@minnesotastategop No actually those corporations are making record profits and its really because jobs go overseas. I doubt environmental regulations had anything to do with California's food problem. I mean its a desert. Of course stuff like that happens. One solution is using tax money for public works in California to create desalinization plants and new irrigation. But we can't afford it since you're all scared it might cut into record profits!!

@turnofffox There was a Transient home outside St Paul. They brought me there, they gave me a job and tasks as part of rent, in addition I was expected to look for work. (the homes no longer exist becuase government regulated them to death. Government wants to monopolize helping the poor so they can fuck everything up) I found it, I got an apartment in Rochester and , that's it. years of depending on government did nothing compared to what a few months with Christians did. Socialism fails again.

Its nothing but bureacracy, long waits, the people in charge care more about geting paid from taxpayers than helping you, the case workers create more problems then there already are. Bottom line, you put government in charge of anything expect failure. I got off the streets because caring compasionate christians with the spirit of God came to my aid. They fed me clothed me aided in finding employment and helped me get into a network.
