She's made herself look like Phylis Diller with all that plastic surgery. Looks like her mouth is crooked when she talks .

i agree with her statement about to many sounding alike, mostly the men though.. I miss the days of Tanya and Barbara and Crystal Gayle,, all three plus the others back then, Dolly as well, all sounded distinctive... you knew when Conway Twitty was singing versus other male singers.. today they all blend together..Tanya was a great one indeed, to bad the drugs took a toll, you can tell she is a past drug user just by the way she moves her mouth, which happens to drug users, but still a great one

Tanya is an icon of country. She is classic. Todays country is garbage compared to yesterdays...doesn't have to be though. Country needs to get back to its roots and artists need to feel the songs they sing as Tanya says; stop the commercialization and stop playing any twenty-something yahoo who wants to call him/herself country on the radio. Lets get back to the sounds of Tanya, Waylon, Marty, George, Crystal, Tom T, Loretta, Conway...classic country. (and don't forget Tanya's sister La Costa!)

It's refreshing to hear someone in the industry admit to the homogenous (read: monotonous) sound of modern country music. Rap has suffered from this problem since about the second week it existed.

Tanya is spot on with her analysis of today's country music. It does indeed sound pretty much all alike. It doesn't seem to be much variety in the sound these days. But, again she is correct, there are a lot of great country singers out there. Unfortunately there is not enough diversity in the business. All the best to you, TT.
