This is my Ericsson T28z from 1999. For those who are curious I got the unlock code from AT&T. This phone was a Pacific Bell Wireless phone. So if you have an old phone that was originally used with PacBell they should be able to give you the unlock code.

  • Those stubby antennae are awesome! Cell phones use fractal antennae now, which look like a mix between a pac-man level and a qr code - they get much better signal, which is why you probably couldn't get anything w/ the stubby antenna.

  • Hmm interesting. Do you have any ideas of what I can do to make it get a stronger signal? Is there any way to convert it to a fractal antenna? That would be awesome! I'm not scared of pulling it apart and trying to mess with it.

  • Amazing, so these phones would still work today?

  • They sure do!

  • Its not SE.

  • First, it's not a Sony ;)

Second, you've got it with the bigger battery, there's also a ultra slim version...

  • I got the T-10s from 1998. That was a great phone.

  • @sandis52 yeah i have a old nokia phone a black one .. and it is 2 years old and it works quite good :)

  • You are all huge baby idiots with you baby iphones and other shits. When you will get older and smarter ( I guess) than you understand that the only thing you have to do is to call, send sms. And you wont need internet in your 3 square centimeter display in your iphone, snake, youtube and other baby shits. And this mobile phone T28 new that 10 year ago. And that makes is one sof the best phones ever build. The business phone for real men that has babys and not themselves any more.

  • They're impossible to find now though. Any suggestions? Or can I take the antenna apart and put something in it to get better reception?
