Have You Forgotten?

This is a Tribute to our Troops and to those that lost their lives during 9/11. I will never forget that dreadful day Sept. 11 2001.I also will never forget nor be ungrateful to our Military Troops...

By that I'm not trying to be disrespectful to our military. I highly respect our military and all of their sacrifices. And I don't want to belittle the loss of all those who died on Sept. 11 or serving in the military. I want to honor their deaths, their sacrifices, by making sure that we are truly fighting for freedom, that we are truly fighting for what it is that we value.

I am a U.S. Marine who recently left the service to further my education. I served two tours in Iraq and before my time in the service I was a volunteer Fire Fighter and served in Hurricane Katrina here in Mississippi. I am back on my V.F.D. now and I loved being a Marine. I love this country and it was my honor to serve my country. I do not think I did anything special. I loved carrying those stars and bars. I will everyday in my heart for the rest of my life.
