Q: How long did it take to build this?
A: About 1 or 2 months.
Q: How did you get the water out once you built it?
A: I layered down dirt in the shape of the interior of a new hallway or room, layered glass over that, then dug out the dirt from inside.

@Zamboro the boat still rises just not as fast so u could try moving the launch tubes 3 or 4 blocks closer to the surface and just make it so that your breathe will not run out will rising, although its still not as good....

But I must battle the mighty kraken and claim his jeweled throne. :3 Also one of the other server regulars had a Jake skin so it kinda worked out. I wonder if anyone's made the land of Ooo in Minecraft yet...

Amazing! In my opinion it would look beautiful if there was coral reefs surrounding the city.
There is a mod for coral...and dive suits as well.

Yes, but for the hundredth time, that mod does not work online. It is no good for a server, which this is.

It's not an issue anymore. Notch fixed the rapid rising boat glitch so no type of launch tube will work now.
