Joao Silva Walks.
Silva, a photographer for The New York Times, lost both his legs last October when he stepped on an antipersonnel mine in Afghanistan.
Joao lived in South Africa and soon began to meet there graphically the end of apartheid. Along with Greg Marinovich, Ken Oosterbroek and Kevin Carter wrote the book The Bang Bang Club, where they had their experience as photojournalists.
