Now I don't hardly know her
But I think I could love her
Crimson and clover

Ah
Well if she come walkin' over
Now I been waitin' to show her
Crimson and clover
Over and over

Yeah
My mind's such a sweet thing
I wanna do everything
What a beautiful feeling
Crimson and clover
Over and over

Crimson and clover, over and over

  • This song melts mind. At 4:20, they still have more to give us. One of the many many many great songs of the 1960s - best decade music has ever seen.

  • @SolutionDDMC I consider myself among the lucky ones to have gotten to hear the music of the 60's on that old time AM home/car radio as it was being made/released.there is no going back and that is a shame. :+{ I still remember the first new school buses with radios',the old blue birds.now that was liven

  • @RileyRawRsXoX0 it will be 5 years on tuesday since my mom died. your memories of your mom singing this to you is something you'll always have and as such, she'll never truly be gone. God Bless You and Your Mom.

  • Nostalgic and good memories...always has been and always will be a great make out song. chicks just dig it.

  • @wyattthefu I am right there with you only my school bus didn't have a radio.... only Mr. Owens who would throw things back at us when we were screwing around.....

  • I was around 14 when this song first came out! Oh, the memories! Me and my ex, my childhood sweetheart, tearing it up in his classic Ford Fairlane. Hangin with the other Dudes, with their fast cars. Going to the golden arches for a burger, makin out at the drive in! Those were the days. Greatest music the world will ever know from the 60s!

  • Beautiful music is beautiful music no matter what era or genre. Just sit back and groove. Be happy, and love the one you with. Can't get any better than that.

  • Ok guys, obviously you don't get it. The song means nothing about sex or drugs. Tommy James (lead singer) simply woke up one morning and thought of his favorite color: Crimson, and favorite flower: Clover. And he knew that was what he wanted the title of his next song to be, even before the song had any written lyrics. I know because my dad is close friends with Tommy. :)

  • When this came out I always thought it was way ahead of its time. Futuristic sounding because it was unique at that time.

  • Lov this song

  • @777superdad thats how my Dad always talked when i was a kid..haha always told me about the old days....
