His voice was painful to hear, in my opinion. It was, as @ukpkmkk said, annoying. Michael Jackson's vocal range was wide. Frank Sinatra believed Michael Jackson was the only male singer to top him. His voice reached more than 3.6 octaves. Elvis' barely reached 3.

Elvis had a fantastic voice,he perfomed and made you feel it, he was great. Im a big fan of Elvis.And Michael Jackson was amazing,knew how to dance, he knew how to sing,he wrote amazing songs,he donated more than 300Mill$ to Charity, holding the record..but oh my god when he was dancing he was god on earth.
